All The Country Music Babies Born In 2023

2023 brought quite the baby boom to country music as several artists welcomed new additions to their families. Some, like Jon Pardi and Caroline Jones, became first-time parents, while others, such as Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and Jordan Davis, expanded their families by joyfully welcoming their third children.

Each new addition brought bundles of joy, marking the beginning of a new chapter for these artists and their growing families. Here’s a look back on the babies born in 2023.

Shay Mooney and Hannah

Dan & Shay’s Shay Mooney and wife, Hannah, joyfully welcomed their third son, Abram Shay Mooney, into the world on January 17. The couple announced Abram’s arrival on Instagram with a video of Shay singing the perfectly correlated Dan & Shay song, “When I Pray For You,” to his newborn son. Captioning the video, Hannah wrote, “First song sang to the newest family member… Abram Shay, you’re so loved and so prayed over, baby boy. Thankful for all that God has done for us this week.” Abram Shay Mooney joins the couples two sons – Ames Alexander Mooney, 3, and Asher James Mooney, 6.

Drake White and Alex

Prayers were answered for Drake White and his wife Alex when they welcomed their son, William Hawk White into the family. Born on January 20, “Hawk” was born following a six-year journey to parenthood that was filled with ups and downs due to fertility struggles. “We’ve been through so much,” Drake told People. “We’ve been through so much, from my having a stroke on stage to Alex being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and having an autoimmune disorder. And then this was just something else that tested our faith and tested our strength.”

Jon Pardi and Summer

Jon Pardi and his wife Summer became first-time parents to their precious daughter Presley Fawn Pardi on February 18. Weighing 7 lbs, 12 oz, and measuring 20.25 inches long, Presley Fawn made her entrance into the world. Jon shared the exciting news by posting a photo of his little girl wrapped in blankets with a caption that read, “Our baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke!”

John Osborne and Lucie

John Osborne of Brothers Osborne and his wife Lucie Silvas celebrated the arrival of boy-girl twins on March 21. Their son Arthur made an unexpected entrance at 1:43 am, weighing 3 lbs 13 oz and measuring 15.5 inches, while their baby girl Maybelle joined at 1:44 am, weighing 5 lbs 1 oz and measuring 18 inches. Born about a month premature and too small, both children needed care in the NICU. After over two weeks in the hospital, the new family of four finally returned home.

LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Kristen

People announced the arrival of Preston Brust’s baby girl, Lion Lockheart, who was born on June 9 in Nashville. Lion is Preston and Kristen’s third child and joins big brother Legend Wilde and daughter Love Lily.

Jordan Davis and Kristen

“Next Thing You Know” Jordan Davis is a father of THREE! The country star and his wife, Kristen, welcomed their third child, a boy named Elijah Patrick, into the world on June 15. Davis announced his son’s arrival on social media, writing, “God is good! My son Elijah Patrick is in the world…His momma did incredible in getting him here and we hope to get him home to his brother and sister soon.”

Luke Combs and Nicole

Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole Hocking became parents to their second son Beau Lee Combs on August 15. The couple joyfully announced the newest addition to their family through an Instagram video, featuring a pacifier, a tiny hat, and a Polaroid capturing Beau’s little feet. In the heartwarming clip, Nicole is seen writing “Beau Combs” at the bottom of the Polaroid, while Cory Asbury’s song “These are the Days” plays in the background. Beau Lee Combs now joins his brother, Tex Lawrence Combs, in the loving family.

Kimberly Perry and Johnny

Kimberly Perry and her husband, Johnny Costello, celebrated the arrival of their firstborn, Whit Costello, on August 26. Capturing the sweet moment with a mother/son snapshot, Kimberly Perry revealed the details of her son’s birth on Instagram. Whit Costello made his entrance into the world at 4:01 pm in Nashville, Tennessee and weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. Kimberly said, “Our lives have become sweeter, our days have become so much fuller, our sleep has gotten shorter – our house has truly become a home.”

Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Font and Jonah

Maddie Font and her husband Jonah welcomed their first child, Forrest Henry, into the world on September 9. “After 37 hard hours of labor, finally getting to push, and ending up having an emergency c section and being put under, Forrest Henry Font made his debut,” the proud new mom shared at the time.

Dylan Scott and Blair

The Scott family became a party of five after Dylan Scott’s wife gave birth to their third child on October 26. The country hitmaker introduced hi son to the world on Instagram, revealing that he name was Barron, meaning “warrior” and “noble man.” “Thank you Jesus for blessing me with three healthy beautiful kids and a smoking hot rockstar wife! Life is good,” he shared.

Russell Dickerson and Kailey

Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey took to Instagram to announce the early arrival of their second son, Radford Arthur Dickerson, born on October 1. Radford joins big brother, Remington Edward Dickerson, weighing 8 lbs 14 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. Kailey elaborated on the day her family expanded to a party of four through a carousel post showcasing a variety of family photos. She wrote, “Lil Rad man made his way into the world 17 hours after the show in Kansas City… Dad was dropped-off at the hospital on the tour bus and all… But we made it! Lil Rad is a dream baby and Rem is obsessed with being a super big brother!”

Oliver Anthony And Tiffany

Breakout star Oliver Anthony became a father of three on October 18 when his wife, Tiffany, gave birth to a baby boy. “Mission success. ❤️,” the “Rich Men North Of Richmond” singer shared alongside a photo of his newborn son on social media.

Sam Hunt and Hannah

Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah Fowler added a son to their family with their latest addition Lowry Lee. Lowry Lee was born on October 24 and his name is derived from both parents’ middle names, according to People. Feeling blessed and grateful for his little family, Sam Hunt took to Instagram after Thanksgiving to share a couple images of his loved ones, captioning it with a sincere “Thank You Lord.” Lowry Lee joins his big sister Lucy Louise. 

Austin Burke and Lexy

Austin Burke and his wife Lexy officially became parents on November 21 to their son Benny Patrick. Benny Patrick was born at 9:14 pm and weighed 7 lbs and 9 oz. Announcing the wonderful news on Instagram, the couple posted images of their newborn baby with a caption that read, “After 24 hours of labor, we finally got to meet our new best friend. Thank you for all the love and prayers from every one of you. God is too good to give us this little angel.” Inspired by this new stage of life, Austin also re-recorded some of his beloved childhood songs for a soothing lullaby project titled “Dreams.”

Caitlyn Smith and Rollie

Caitlyn Smith and her husband Rollie Gaalswyk welcomed their third son Jacob Roland Gaalswyk on November 26. Jacob keeps the boy-streak alive, joining big brothers Lewis James, and Thomas Miles, weighing 7 lbs and 4 oz. Caitlyn expressed her excitement in an Instagram post with a carousel of photos featuring her newborn and additional details of his birth. She wrote “Welcome to the world, JACOB ROLAND GAALSWYK!  We are over the moon excited and so grateful that you’re finally here! Our little 7lb. 4 oz angel was born on 11/26/23 – turning us into a family of 5! Tom and Louie are so excited about their new baby brother. I’m so thankful for our incredible birth team… because of their amazing care and support, I was able to have a successful VBA2C (via waterbirth!) which was an incredibly redemptive birth experience. God is so good and I am beyond grateful. “We love you, Jacob Roland!”

Caroline Jones and Nick

Caroline Jones, a singer/songwriter and member of the Zac Brown Band, gave birth on November 29 via a home water birth. Declan Tudor Dana is the couple’s first child. ” It was the most intense, raw and surreal experience of my life. Nick and I are overjoyed, overwhelmed, and very grateful to be able to soak up this time as a new family of 3,” she shared on social media after the baby made its debut.

Kelleigh Bannen and Jeff

Kellegih Bannen, country singer and host of Today’s Country Radio on Apple Music Country, became a first-time mom on December 1 when she and her husband Jeff Gossman welcomed a baby girl named Mary Grant into the world. Her name holds a special significance to Bannen. ““Mary Grant” (double name) is named in honor of my brother, Grant, who we lost in 2008. We already cannot imagine life without her and are lost in the sleepy bliss of caring for her and getting to know her,” she explained on social media.
