It didn’t take long for John Summit and Hayla’s “Where You Are” to take its rightful place as this year’s top house music anthem.
Riding the wave of its explosive popularity, Summit recently brought the powerhouse vocalist onstage at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre to perform their collab live for the very first time—in the pouring rain. Emotive yet uplifting, the track’s live performance elicited special energy and ineffable warmth in the crowd.
“Raving in the rain with my family and friends,” Summit wrote on Instagram. “It couldn’t have been more perfect.”

“Core memory for life!” Hayla added in her own celebratory post after the performance. “I actually can’t process how incredible last night was! Hearing you all sing was next level!”
Summit’s Red Rocks show—or as he dubbed it on social media, “bender rocks”—featured supporting DJ sets by Green Velvet, Sosa and Lucati. Check out the goosebumps-inducing live performance of “Where You Are” below.
