Touring is a family affair for Walker Hayes.

Walker Hayes and his family are “on the road again” for his headlining arena tour, The Duck Buck Tour.

Before making his first stop in Rosemont, IL on April 13, the singer/songwriter captured a photo from inside his bus revealing each of his family members in their respective beds. Hayes is no stranger to traveling with his wife, Laney, their six children, Lela, Chapel, Baylor, Beckett, Loxley, and Everly, and their dog. It seems that this trek is no different.

“On The Road Again”

The concert even became a family affair when he brought up his kids throughout the set to help him sing, dance and bring wholesome energy to the crowd. The “Fancy Like” singer shared a few highlights from the night on Instagram, crediting his young helpers as well as openers BRELAND and Ingrid Andress for a successful run.

“Night one of the Duck Buck tour was so smooth,” his caption read. “Love being back out on the road! @breland and @ingridandress ARE INSANE🔥🔥🔥 and I think we are moving toward calling the fan club the Duck Buckers 😂😂😂💪💪 🦆 🦌”

Since going viral for his catchy song, “Fancy Like,” and the accompanying dance moves, fans have fallen in love with the entire Hayes family. When they’re not showing off their dance skills on TikTok, they’re often sharing glimpses into their everyday lives through comical clips or heartfelt music videos.

Recently, the Alabama native chose to include his daughters in a moving new music video for his song, “if father time had a daughter.” Written by Hayes with Josh and Matt Jenkins and Ben Hayslip, the song finds Hayes begging Father Time to slow things down just a bit so that his girls will stop growing up so fast before his eyes.

“When they play that song, it’s so bittersweet / And I remember her in her little bare feet / Dancing on her toes on my boots / I’ma try not to cry but shoot / Y’all gon’ have to give me a break if you see a few tears / Least I had some really really really good years / Bet daddy’s girls would stay little a little bit longer / If father time had a daughter,” he sings in the tear-jerking chorus.

The video shows Hayes enjoying life with his girls and making memories, both big and small, that are captured through nostalgia-laced film. His daughter, Loxley Hayes’ youthful vocals can also be heard on the recording.

“if father time had a daughter” is part of a two-song collection titled, being a dad and missing mine, which also includes his sentimental, “6 string American dream.” Both of these vulnerable tunes were inspired by the rollercoaster of Hayes’ life and career.

“Been waiting to get these two songs out for a long time,” Hayes shared in a press release. “As I look at the body of work and the songs I’m sitting on, I think about what I want to say – and this is what I want to say to the world right now. These songs wreck me in different ways and it’s my hope that everyone that listens will leave feeling real feelings.”

These songs follow a string of fan-favorites from the Monument Records recording artist, including “Face In The Crowd,” “Y’all Life,” and many more off his 2022 full-length project, Country Stuff The Album

Walker Hayes’ 23-date Duck Buck Tour will continue with stops in Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Alabama, and more before coming to a close on August 5 in Sterling Heights, MI.

Special guests Ingrid Andress, BRELAND, Ray Fulcher, Nicolle Galyon and Chris Lane will join Hayes on the road on select days.
