Just four days ago, Swedish rockers Crashdïet shocked the world by announcing that singer Gabriel Keyes had been replaced by Confess lead vocalist John Elliot while long-time drummer Eric Young had been permanently replaced by Michael Sweet (not the Stryper frontman).

The new Crashdïet line-up, which also includes guitarist Martin Sweet and bassist Peter London — the latter who was returning to the line-up after a more than one year hiatus — played a “secret” gig at Pub Anchor in Stockholm, Sweden on February 23, 2024.

The following message was posted in part on Pretty Maids keyboardist / guitarist and renowned producer Chris Laney‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“Great “secret” gig by Crashdiet yesterday. This year marks 20 years since I started working with them and what became Rest In Sleaze. Love these dudes and a new era begins!”
