A rising talent has emerged on the scene. Known by his stage name Uneak, Keanu Clarke is an upcoming hip-hop artist from Roosevelt, New York. At eight years old, Uneak began to take an interest in music and was mentored by his father, a producer. In his early life, the rapper was exposed to various musical genres that would form the foundation of his artistic style in the future.
The support of his mother, upon whom he is heavily dependent for motivation and encouragement in his endeavors, and close friends is essential to him in reaching his goals. Furthermore, music is the defining element of the New York native’s brand, continually building his brand and inspiring people. Aside from releasing another single before the year ends, Uneak plans to expand his horizon by entering into the acting and filmmaking industries in the near future.
Although Uneak’s lyrics resonate with humor and desire and cling to the essence of existence, they do not distract from his primary objective: to achieve success as a rapper in today’s Hip-Hop market.

Interview
There is a meaning to every song written by an artist. A recent interview with Two Story Melody revealed Uneak’s inspiration for the song “H.A.M. (Holler At Me).”
“I wanted to express what I’d been feeling with someone I was on and off with for a while. We had a lot of ups and downs, but I always let her know that I was riding for her if she ever needed me,” Uneak says.
According to the “Day by Day” rapper, the song begins with him coming out of a low period in his life. As the verse progresses, he begins to speak about this unknown lover. Furthermore, Uneak stated that his message was to convey to the world that he would stand by the anonymous woman, even in the most difficult of circumstances. “When I wrote the song, I was feeling a little mix of love, pain, and cockiness,” he said.
