Giddy Up!” for a year of new music from Shania Twain.

The Country music icon has unveiled a brand-new single in preparation for her sixth full-length album, Queen of Me, which is due out on February 3.

Twain’s latest release summons her classic fun-loving sound and striking vocal range. Mirroring her legendary song, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” the country star produced yet another irresistible track for the dance floor and even revived the iconic exclamation mark in “Giddy Up!”

“The saying ‘Let’s Go Girls!’ is such a wonderfully uplifting sentiment now, but it’s just something I said during the recording in the studio and I guess that’s the same for “Giddy Up!’” Twain explained in a press release. “These lines come to me when I’m thinking about how to put a little ‘pep in my step.’ I want people to feel good when they hear the new album. I want to set a celebratory tone and ‘Giddy Up!’ is a way to call to the audience and say ‘let’s get ready for some fun!’”

Her choice of punctuation and delivery of the new party anthem surpasses a light, cheerful energy and fully embraces her refreshing vibrancy. The accompanying music video kickstarts a series of dancers who can’t help but show off their moves once the tune comes on.

“Up and we giddy up / Giddy, giddy up / Up and we giddy up / Drunk in the city / Got a litty in the cup / Up and we giddy up! / When we get stuck / Gotta give a little love / It’s up and we giddy, giddy up!,” Twain sings in the flirty chorus.

This song opens the 12-track collection, which “represents a deep and dynamic creative statement from this iconic voice.” The project continues with a mix of brand new tunes and previous releases including “Waking Up Dreaming,” “Last Day of Summer,” and the title track to her 2022 career-spanning documentary, “Not Just A Girl.”

Twain has set the stage for the rest of her year with the official debut for her new label partner Republic Nashville, a division of Republic Records. Queen of Me was produced by and featuring Tyler Joseph (Twenty One Pilots) and marks her first album since 2017.

Prompted by her new release, the five-time GRAMMY Award-winning legend took to social media to give her fans an update on all the exciting things she has coming.

Her caption read, “Queen Of Me comes out in one month (!) and Giddy Up! is another taster of what you can expect from the album. Giddy Up! represents the ‘night on the town Shania’ whose prerogative is just to have a little fun and go totally crazy!! I wanna see you tearing up the dance floor in your best cowboy boots to this one – Go listen now!! 🤠”

Following her wildly successful Vegas residency, Twain will take her new music on the road for the first time in nearly five years with her global Queen of Me Tour, produced by Live Nation. She’ll be joined by a slew of country stars including Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, and Mickey Guyton, Lily Rose, Talk, and Tenille Townes on select dates throughout the trek.
