What first got you into music?
I first got into music at a very early age. I would as my parents for instruments and play around
the house. I would even reenact scenes from “Annie” as a kid. I have had a major love of
singing for as long as I can remember.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Currently, I am making rock-pop music and I absolutely love this new sound for me! I have
always loved rock music since I was a child and pop has always been one of my favorite genres.
Combining my two into a modern, fresh sound has been really exciting for me. I feel like I am
finally making the music I was always meant to make.

What is your creative process like?
My creative process changes depending on the song, but lately, I have been writing guitar
tracks and starting from there. I like to write in my college apartment best because the vibes in
there always pull out my best work. I’ll usually let the music soak in my brain first and then get
to writing those lyrics and melodies. Something I have always said about my writing process is
that I always let the song write itself. It’s important to feel what the music is conveying when
writing your lyrics.
Can you tell us a bit more about your favorite song and what inspired you to
make it?
My favorite song I have ever written is called “Wake Me Up” and it’ll be released in March! It’s
the first song I’ve written with a more rock sound and I love everything about it. I was sitting on
the couch letting the song soak in and thought about how in this world, people like to believe
everything is always fine and life is perfect. Life is unpredictable and never what it seems.
Relationships end, people break your heart, and learning to move forward from it all is one most
important things we can learn in life.
Which famous musicians do you admire?
I have always looked up to Elvis Presley since I was a child. His unique tone, versatility, and
perseverance have always inspired me as both a person and an artist. I also am inspired by Miley
Cyrus. Her ‘Plastic Hearts” era inspired me so much and made me realize the kind of music I want
to make as an artist.
What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
One time I took my sister to a friend’s house and didn’t tell my mom. Needless to say, we both
got an earful.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
The best advice I have ever been given was by a dear friend in the industry. There was a point in
my music that I was ready to leave it behind, but he inspired me to stick with my passion. He
told me to never give up on my music and to push through those tough times where you just
wanna quit. He taught me to take things lightly and move forward. If it weren’t for him, I
wouldn’t still be doing what I love.
What’s next for you?
I will be releasing a new song called “Wake Me Up” on March 10th, and I couldn’t be more
excited! I will also be doing a lot of traveling and performing this year!
