Reinier Zonneveld Will Attempt to Break World Record at Dutch Music Festival



The techno superstar is playing for keeps as he aims to perform for nearly 12 hours straight and set what he claims is a world record.

Techno superstar Reinier Zonneveld is making an attempt at a world record. The Netherlands’ Karren Maar Festival will be a party to witness this year as the Dutch DJ and producer is slated as the only artist set to take on the festival’s mainstage.

Scheduled for August 5th at the Stadsblokken in Arnhem, the festival will see Zonneveld make the most of the moment as he attempts to shatter the world record, he claims, for the longest singular individual live performance. Up to 25,000 attendees will bear witness as Zonneveld strives to go the distance—11 hours and 11 minutes—and etch his name in dance music history.

Zonneveld will cover his discography while additionally test-running some unreleased music. After all, there’ll be plenty of time to get experimental throughout the marathon endeavor.

“I can’t wait to take things to the next level with Karren Maar Festival this year,” Zonneveld said in a press release shared with . “I don’t often get the chance to do such a long show at a festival, and that makes me even more excited to rave with 25,000 visitors at my own festival this summer.”

A secondary stage at Karren Maar Festival will also feature artists from Zonneveld’s own record label, Filth On Acid. Tickets to the festival go on sale March 9th.
