Old Dominion Takes A Trip Down 'Memory Lane' In Latest Release

Old Dominion announced the extension of their highly-acclaimed No Bad Vibes Tour. The next leg of their renowned U.S. trek will visit 30+ additional arenas nationwide.

Since January, the band has been touring across the country playing high-energy shows in sold-out arenas to thousands of excited fans. Next, they will kick off the new round of dates on September 7 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, and make stops in cities including Milwaukee, WI, Pittsburgh, PA, Belmont Park, NY, Charleston, SC, and many more before wrapping up at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on December 15.

“When we said we were back, we meant it. 🏝️ Keeping the good vibes rolling with new arena shows and special guests through the fall,” Old Dominion wrote in their announcement on social media.

This time around, the reigning ACM Group of the Year and CMA Vocal Group of the Year will be joined by a slew of special guests on select dates including Priscilla Block, Adam Doleac, Kylie Morgan, Jameson Rodgers, Niko Moon, Kassi Ashton, Tyler Hubbard, Chase Rice and Kip Moore.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 5 at 10AM local time @ http://Tour.weareolddominion.com.  American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, May 2 at 10am local time through Thursday, May 4 at 10pm local time.

The group’s tour announcement comes off the heels of their recent ACM nomination for Group of the Year. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Old Dominion has been nominated in the category. They have taken home the title for the last five years.

Old Dominion also recently debuted their critically acclaimed new single “I Should Have Married You” via Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville. The track was written and produced by Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung and Brad Tursi alongside award-winning songwriter Shane McAnally.

Through their bright harmonies and cheerful spirit, the band reflects on being “young and stupid” and letting that one special person get away instead of stepping up to the plate and popping the big question.

“If I hadn’t been so young and stupid / Yeah, I let somebody beat me to it / Don’t know what you got until you lose it / Guess I blew it, baby / I should have married you,” they deliver in the breezy chorus. “That’s just the way it goes / I should’ve seen it through / I should’ve let you know / I should’ve said, “I do” / Back when I still had the chance, yeah / I should have married you.”

“I Should Have Married You” follows another sentimental release from the band, “Memory Lane.” This song takes listeners back to those times when their happiest memories were first created. The dynamic track creates a comforting outlet with its optimistic melody and dreamy tendencies that act as an undeniably sound addition to the band’s catalog.

“Sometimes, when I’m feeling overwhelmed, or missing someone, or maybe just feel a little nostalgic, there are places in my mind I can go that are full of memories of simpler times. It’s a location, or a person, or a feeling that will always live in my memories and I can close my eyes and transport myself there anytime I want and experience it all again,” explained Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey. “I think we all have that time in our life that will remain forever perfect in our hearts. Sometimes we wish we could just stay there and never leave.”

After a recent stop in the desert for a performance at Stagecoach Festival, Old Dominion will bring their new music back to the stage for their next appearance at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, GA on May 5.
