Offset and Takeoff

Offset has paid tribute to his late cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff with a new back tattoo, which he shared on social media. The tattoo is a symbol of love and remembrance for Takeoff, who was tragically killed in November 2022.


Offset has debuted a new back tattoo in honor of his late cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff on Instagram. The caption read, “Love you 4L & after 🚀🤍🕊️,” which was a phrase Takeoff used to say to his loved ones. 

Takeoff passed away last year in Houston, Texas, after an altercation turned violent. The Migos member’s death was a tragic loss for the hip-hop community. Since then, Offset has been paying tribute to his cousin in various ways, including through his music. 

Fans have praised the rapper for his dedication to his family and for keeping Takeoff’s memory alive.

Offset shared a snippet of new unreleased music featuring his late cousin and fellow Migos rapper, Takeoff. This follows after Offset’s continued efforts to honor the late rapper since his death in November 2022.

Atlanta rapper Offset shared a snippet of new music on his social media accounts that feature a new posthumous verse from the late Migos rapper, Takeoff. 

In the video, the former Migos member shared a minute-long video nodding his head to an unreleased verse from Takeoff on a song with rapper Icewear Vezzo. Offset smiled while the song played as well. 

Offset’s preview of new music from Takeoff comes just months after fellow Migos member Quavo released a song dedicated to Takeoff called “Without You,” which he performed at the Grammys on Feb. 5. 

In November 2022, Offset previously honored Takeoff with large images of him on stage while performing at different shows.

Atlanta rapper Offset and New York rap legend Busta Rhymes, pushed their projects back in honor of the late Migos rapper Takeoff, who was shot and killed in November 2022.
