Nicki Minaj is sticking to her Caribbean roots with a full-song collaboration with eight other island artists. She called the group of women the “Fine Nine,” including Nicki on the track “Likkle Miss.”
Nicki spent her night paying homage to the Caribbean islands and released a song featuring other female artists with similar roots.
Instead of doing her Queen Radio session, Nicki went live on Instagram for nearly an hour to make the announcement.
During the live show, Nicki also told the Barbz that she would be taking a step back from Queen Radio because she does not have the time to make the show as enjoyable for her fans as she would like at the moment.
However, that did not stop her from releasing the “Fine Nine Remix” with a healthy roster of dancehall queens.
The track features Spice, Pamputtae, Lisa Mercedez, and Dovey Magnum from Jamaica. It also features London Hill, Lady Leshurr, Destra Garcia, and Patrice Roberts.
Nicki recently discussed female artists she collabs with, defending every one of them when needed.
Additionally, the song is a remix that comes before Nicki’s long-awaited album set to be released soon. She has already dropped remixes, and videos, to her recent singles without a named project yet.
The new single “Likkle Miss,” aka “The Fine Nine Remix,” is available on all platforms.
Nicki Minaj will bless the Barbz with her presence again with fellow rap stars Kodak Black and Moneybagg Yo.
The chart-topping artists will be taking over the stage at the Powerhouse concert, sponsored by Power 99 FM, in the city of Brotherly Love.
The concert will be at the Wells Fargo Center on October 28 in Philadelphia.
