Here are six Country Christmas songs you need to hear right now.

Ian Munisck – “Santa Ain’t A Cowboy“

Fans are getting a true taste of Ian Munsick’s Wyoming roots in his new holiday tune, “Santa Ain’t A Cowboy.” Through his authentic mountain vocals, the country star makes note of the many similarities that would prove that Santa is in fact a cowboy. Although they may wear different hats, Munsick commends both the one riding in the sleigh and the one riding a horse for their determination, generosity, and loyalty. 

“He gives more than he takes / He ain’t early, he ain’t late / Every promise that he makes / Well he’ll never break it,” Munsick sings ahead of the notable chorus, “He might not wear my kind of hat / But you can’t judge a man by that / It’s a trail he leaves behind / It shows he ain’t the quitting kind / So you can’t tell me Santa Ain’t A Cowboy / He rides till the job is done.” 

Brandon Davis – “Family Tree“

Brandon Davis sprinkled plenty of personal sentiments in his original Christmas song, “Family Tree.” For many families, the holiday traditions begin with picking out the perfect Christmas tree and then decorating it as you reminisce about all the ornaments that have been compiled over the years. Davis has these special memories from his childhood and now that he’s a dad, he is getting to his own traditions with his wife and kids. 

“It’s those boxes stuffed up in the loft dating back to ’93 / And once a year we’d pull ’em out watching Macy’s playing on TV and / We’d dress it up with lights and life’s long memories / With a star on top to praise the man who made it be / And we’d thank Him for the years before and a couple more / Around the family tree,” he sings in the chorus. 

Runaway June – “Cowboy For Christmas”

If there’s one thing Runaway June wants under their tree this year, it’s a “Cowboy For Christmas.” The all-female trio’s original holiday song was penned by founder Jennifer Wayne with members Natalie Stovall and Stevie Woodward alongside Paul Sikes. Together, they orchestrated a sultry and romantic tune combined with their true holiday spirit that begs for the company of  “a man with calloused hands And mud on his spurs.”

“I’ve got that wide open range / I’ve got a winter wonderland view / I got some horses in the stable / Twinkling lights on the roof / Dear Santa, bring me a cowboy for Christmas,” go the lyrics,” they sing. 

Drew Baldridge – “The Best Gift for Christmas” 

This year, Drew Baldridge is getting “The Best Gift for Christmas.” In his brand-new original holiday song written by Baldridge alongside Jimmy Yeary and Nick Schwarz and produced by Nick Schwarz, the country star anticipates the birth of his son with his wife, Katie. Their first child is due right around Christmas time meaning this holiday season is sure to be a special one. As he unwraps the sentimental ballad with his humbled vocals, Baldridge reflects on memories from childhood as well as all the exciting things on the way. 

“Yeah ol’ saint nick got a whole lot right But this right here feels like The best gift for Christmas Yeah and he’s got his mamma’s eyes And his little hand holdin’ onto mine The best gift for Christmas I musta been good all year long ‘Cause I got all that I could ever want You can check everything off my list ‘Cause I already got the best gift For Christmas,” he sings in the heartfelt chorus. 

Jordana Bryant – “First Christmas in Love” 

Rising country star, Jordana Bryant, is ringing in the holly jolly season with her original holiday song, “First Christmas In Love.” Written solely by Bryant, this tune illuminates all the magic that comes with this time of year, especially when you have someone to love. She pours her heartfelt gratitude into each note as she commemorates the fact that she has that special person in her life to celebrate with. But no matter the relationship status, single, taken or stuck in a “situationship,” Bryant allows the listener to experience plenty of cheer with her country-pop sound. 

“I absolutely love Christmas time! Growing up I would always watch those classic Hallmark Christmas movies with my grandma and I loved how they instantly put you in the Christmas spirit,” Jordana Bryant shared. “I really wanted to capture those same feelings with my Christmas song and hopefully make people feel the magic of the holidays when they hear it.”

The Dryes – “Christmas Is Callin’”

Former The Voice contestants, The Dryes, have bottled up the true essence of a Christmas classic with their new tune, “Christmas Is Callin’.” The husband-and-wife duo made up of Katelyn & Derek Drye wrote this song with Kelli Johnson, allowing the listener to dive into some of their happiest memories. From hints of inside jokes to stories of family traditions, this mid-tempo track acts a personalized love letter to the holiday season. 

“Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year. It’s when we get together with our loved ones and create memories that live on for many years,” shares Derek. “We wrote this song about those family get togethers; exchanging gifts, laughing about memories of the past, when Katelyn’s sister got Amy Grant’s Christmas album on Christmas Day in 1992 and it played all morning. It’s those moments that inspired us to write this song.”
