“Everybody’s asking me why I ain’t doing a Tennessee show, I’m doing one now. Come see me tomorrow,” Wallen said.

Morgan Wallen will celebrate the release of his third studio album, One Thing At A Time, with a free concert on Friday, March 3, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The country superstar took to social media early Thursday morning (Mar. 2) to announce the exciting news with fans.

“What’s going on, it’s Morgan Wallen, I just wanted to let my fans know that I am doing a free show [at] Bridgestone Arena tomorrow night,” Wallen said in a video on social media. ”If you want tickets… The box office opens at 10 AM Thursday morning, it’ll be open from 10-5 and then on Friday it’ll be open the same time. So go down there and get your tickets. I’m going to play a free show…  I’m going to do acoustic. Everybody’s asking me why I ain’t doing a Tennessee show, I’m doing one now. Come see me tomorrow, Friday 3/3. See you there!”

Wallen is returning to the arena that housed three consecutive sold-out shows on his 2022 Dangerous Tour for one night only on Friday, March 3.

The pop-up concert is 100% free to fans and will feature an up-close, in-the-round, full band concert, beginning at 7:30 PM. Doors for the event will open at 4:30 PM.

The only way to get tickets to the show is in person at the Bridgestone Arena box office. Tickets are limited to two per-person.

The announcement of Wallen’s free Bridgestone concert comes just one day before the release of his highly anticipated new album, One Thing At A Time.

Arriving on March 3, One Thing At A Time will feature 36 new songs, including duets with Eric Church, HARDY and ERNEST. Wallen’s sister Ashlyne will also make an appearance on the project, singing harmonies on the song titled “Outlook.”

“I grew up in church singing three-part harmonies with my two sisters. That’s how I learned to sing, so this was a full-circle moment for Ashlyne and me,” Wallen continued.

The 36-track project follows the December release of Wallen’s three-song One Thing At A Time – Sampler, which included “One Thing At A Time,” “Days That End In Why,” and “Tennessee Fan.”

One Thing At A Time will showcase Wallen’s wide range of musical influences as well as combine his love for country, rock and hip-hop.

“This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” Wallen said in a press release. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop.”

“I just try to tell it how it is – the good, the bad, the love, the heartbreak. That’s all I know how to do,” Wallen admitted. “My hope is that this album makes my fans proud; makes ’em laugh, smirk, cry, and think – just like it did for me.”

Also included on the much anticipated project are several previously teased tunes such as “Ain’t That Some,” “Whiskey Friends,” “Keith Whitley,” “Me + All Your Reasons,” as well as latest No. 1 hit, “You Proof,” and his current single, “Thought You Should Know.”

“There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me,” Wallen added. “It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”

The project’s album art holds family significance for Wallen as the photo was captured at the home of his late Mamaw (grandmother) in Sneedville, Tennessee. “My Mamaw Boots helped raise me. I had such a special bond with her, so I wanted to honor her with this new record,” Wallen said.

Additionally, Morgan Wallen will soon take his new album on the road for his first-ever stadium tour, dubbed One Night At A Time World Tour.

The tour officially kicks off on Wednesday, March 15 in Auckland, NZ at the Spark Arena. The U.S. leg of the tour begins on April 14 with back-to-back nights at Milwaukee’s American Family Field.

Marking one of the largest tours of 2023 so far and the biggest tour of Wallen’s career, the 63-show trek will visit 30 stadiums, plus arenas, amphitheaters and festivals to fans across four countries and two continents.

The trek will feature support from ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman on all dates. HARDY and Parker McCollum will also appear on select dates.

After making his stadium debut with a record-breaking show at Globe Life Field in Texas in 2022, Wallen will visit several ballparks throughout North America, including New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Milwaukee’s American Family Field, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Boston’s Fenway Park and more.

Produced by Live Nation, the North American leg of the trek will wrap up on October 7 at Tacoma Dome in Washington.

In an effort to give back to those in need, Wallen will donate $3 of every ticket sold on the U.S. dates to the More Than My Hometown Foundation. Established in 2021, the foundation benefits causes near and dear to the superstar’s heart, including organizations such as Greater Good Music, Children Are People, the Salvation Army, and the National Museum of African American Music.
