Mike Ryan Gives Update After His Tour Bus Catches Fire

Rising star Mike Ryan recently encountered a scary situation on the road when his tour bus caught fire.

The independent country singer took to social media to share the devastating news with his followers early Tuesday morning (Nov. 29) alongside three photos of the aftermath of the tour bus fire.

The first photo shows Ryan’s black tour bus with the front windows torched with soot covering the ground. The series continues with photos of the back of the bus completely burnt and melted before the final snapshot took fans inside the now-destroyed bus.

“There isn’t much good news here but at least no one was on the bus when it happened,” Ryan captioned the photos. ”No one hurt 🙏 we’ll replace what was lost and keep on chuggin along. At least my @opry sign made it 🙌🏼 (swipe left) We’ll see y’all in Mississippi this weekend.”

Fellow Texas natives, including Wade Bowen, Parker McCollum, Kolby Cooper, Josh Abbott, Hayden Haddock, and more, took to the comments of the post to wish him well.

“Damnit buddy!! So glad everyone is ok!! Holler and let us know how we can help!” Bowen commented, while Cooper added, “Glad everyone is okay brother!!”

McCollum wrote, “Gah damn dude! Glad nobody got hurt!”

“Let us know if you need anything” Abbott shared.

Mike Ryan’s next tour date is scheduled for Dec. 2 in Hattiesburg, MS. See a complete list of upcoming tour dates HERE.

Mike Ryan – Longcut

Ryan recently released his fourth studio album, Longcut, which arrived on October 28.

The 13-song collection, which was produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, includes the fan-favorite tracks “Die Runnin’,” “Can Down,” as well as “Get Away With Anything,” “Loser,” “All My Songs,” and more.

In addition, the project features songs written by lauded songwriters such as Hillary Lindsey, Phil Vassar, Josh Thompson, Brandy Clark and more.

Ryan made his Grand Ole Opry debut on November 8, just days after the release of Longcut

Surrounded by his closest family and friends, the Texas native took to the iconic Opry circle to perform his songs, “Dear Country Music” and “Damn Good Goodbye.”

“This is an incredible night. So many of my friends came out to support me. My family and my two sons are in the audience and it’s hard not to get emotional,” Ryan shared after his Opry debut. “I’m honored to be on this stage where so many Country music legends and artists have performed. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and to be a part of this tradition.”

Mike Ryan first heard the news of his invitation to make his Opry debut when his two sons, Myles and MJ, surprised him with the news at his home in Granbury, Texas, both of whom were in attendance for the special occasion.

“On my first music business trip to Nashville, I stopped by the Opry just to see it. Back then I just imagined how cool it would be to play that stage,” he previously told Country Now. “So, it gives me a lot of pride now to be invited to play at such a history-rich venue. My two young sons surprised me with the news, and that made it that much sweeter. They will be there with me when I play in November.”

Additionally, Ryan made his Globe Life Field debut in his home state of Texas, where he performed his first-ever stadium show alongside headliner Morgan Wallen. The concert made history as the venue’s fastest sellout after nearly every ticket was sold out during presale.

Over the course of Mike Ryan’s career, he has achieved nine No. 1 hits atop the Texas music charts and has amassed over 265 million career streams and counting. The hitmaker has also earned a spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart for his 2017 album, Blink You’ll Miss It.
