Metallica Hits Over Billion Streams On Spotify

Metallica band just surpassed over billion streams in 2022 on Spotify. Metallica’s most famous “Enter Sandman” song has received over 1 billion Spotify streams. We will see if the Metallica’s new album can surpass two billion streams in 2023 or not.

“Enter Sandman” was the lead single from Metallica’s 1991 self-titled album of the band. This album also sold over 17.3 million copies in the United States alone. Metallica’s fifth studio album is this one. Elektra Records released it on August 12, 1991. Metallica’s new producer, Bob Rock, was regularly at odds with Metallica throughout the eight months recording period at One on One Studios in Los Angeles, California, USA.

“Enter Sandman” followed by “Nothing Else Matters” with almost 873 million streams, “Master Of Puppets” with nearly 579 million streams, and “One” with over 419 million streams.

Metallica, founded in 1981 by guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, has become one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history, selling nearly 120 million albums and generating over 2.5 billion streams while performing to millions of fans on all seven continents. “Kill ‘Em All,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Master Of Puppets,” “… And Justice For All,” “The Black Album,” “Load,” “Reload,” “St. Anger,” “Death Magnetic,” and “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct,” released in November 2016, listed at Number 1 in most of the countries.

Metallica is also planning to release a new record as part of its upcoming Metallica 2023 tour on April 2023. The album by Metallica is also titled ’72 Seasons.’ Until the album, the band will undoubtedly release new tracks on occasion.
