The “WAP” artist is officially performing for the first time this year. The March Madness Music Festival AT&T Block Party set for Friday, March 31 in Houston will be the first time Meg is spotted on stage since the December trial that found Tory Lanez guilty of shooting her.

“There’s no place I’d rather be for the first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” Meg said. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe, and I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s last performance was at the Los Angeles State Historic Park on December 10th, two days before the Tory Lanez shooting trial officially began, where the Canadian rapper was found guilty of shooting the “Thot Sh*t” artist and was scheduled to be sentenced April 10.

Meg also made a public appearance via  Saturday Night Live, where she hosted and performed her song “Anxiety” shortly after her home was burglarized.

The rap superstar has also been in a long public feud with her 1501 label and former MLB player Carl Crawford, who has since recently apologized to her and said he never intended to have a back-and-forth with her on the internet.

The performance announcement comes a few weeks after the “Savage” artist was seen celebrating her birthday in Los Angeles. Megan Thee Stallion’s recent spotting was during her 28th birthday party. Megan has been out of the spotlight since her victory over Tory Lanez in the 2022 shooting trial.
