Jonathan  started singing in 1997, when he was only 10 years old. He always had a passion for music and got involved in the game very early. His first songs were recorded on cassettes. The musical instruments he used were: Cans of yellow milk with plastic bag and screws on the surface of the mouth, using as percussion, (drumming).

With all these instruments adapted, he was able to produce great kuduro instruments, which at that time from 1996 to 2000, was called (Batida).

From the 90s to the 2000s, he had also joined various school groups, doing theater, poetry, poems and jeris, at school closings and at large rallies, in full view, before the great political leaders, soldiers and peoples. From 2003 to 2006 he had participated in dance and star contests on stages in the provinces of Kwanza Sul and Huambo.

In 2009, he recorded many songs, with the participation of several singers, especially Baila King dos Kalungas, in the song entitled- (You touched my patents), with the entire production of Staff Produções, which was composed by DJ Mona, Gaston Junior, Piloso and dj Raro. Also, in November of the same year in progress, Jonathan entered the contest Top Marçal, from TV Choice represented by Mr. Minguito, owner of the same TV, editions made by a wonderful team, composed by Mona you, Laton, Da Noite, among others. The prizes were the recording of a video clip equivalent to 700 ($) and a basic course. But unfortunately, Jonathan did not reach the point of receiving any of these prizes, due to a tragedy that happened on the day of the video clip recording, where they lost an earlier member of my Group (The Satellites) named Lúmi, who died drowned in the sea from Luanda Island, on January 11, 2010 at 5:30 pm.

Lisa: What first got you into music?

Jonathan : I’ve done almost everything for music, proof of that is my
permanence.

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Jonathan : If it weren’t for my music career, right now I would be doing politics.

Lisa: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Jonathan : Describe the songs I create as a lesson, because my lyrics are based on our daily life.

Lisa: What is your creative process like?

Jonathan :  My creative process depends on my momentary inspiration.

Lisa: I really loved your song “Money money Money. Can you tell me more about it? What’s it about, and how did you get inspiration to write it?

Jonathan : First of all thank you for your preference, I want to add saying that: I keep making repairs to the model of old and current life and I came to the conclusion that money has always made the world worse. I was inspired by the good and bad effects that money has. I said that: the money is not everything in life anymore without it there is also no good life, where there is money there is not a lot of transparency and resplendence. Money causes problems, wars, betrayals between brothers, power struggles between rulers, etc. With the money we buy apples, luxury cars, travel and more.

Lisa: If you could choose to work with some of today’s established artists or producers, to move your game to the top, with whom would you like to collaborate?

Jonathan : Choose to work with good producers and then request participation from successful artists in the international market, in order to lead me to the top

Lisa: Is there a message you are trying to send with your music, regarding the current global events?

Jonathan : The message I would like to leave for global projects is: Producers and sponsors bet me, because I am a phenomenon that science cannot explain! I am a visual impact, convergence of all favorable conditions.

Lisa: Which famous musicians do you admire?

Jonathan : In Angola they are: Sebem and Os Lambas. International: Ivone Chak Chaka, Michael Jackon, Henrique Iglesias, Rhiana, Chris Brown and Wanessa de Camargo.

Lisa: What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

Jonathan : When one of the members of my group died drowned in the sea, on 11/01/2010, in the recording of my first video clip.

Lisa: What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Jonathan : My father always told me: Son, humility is the key to success and success needs faith.

Lisa: What are you working on right now?

Jonathan : Working to release my first official album

Lisa: What’s next for you?

Jonathan : Get more knowledge from the musician herself, in order to one day become one of the best in the world.
