Lisa: Hi Frank G! What first got you into music? What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
Frank G: My dad influenced me around the age of seven he use to sing and still sings til this day he had a group called 365 I come from a family of musicians…As a independent artist I’d be doing what I’m doing now investing in myself I thank God for my talents if It wasn’t for music I would go back to plan b Use my trades to get back to plan a build my money up and continue to invest but I’m starting a small clothing brand soon got to keep the hustle going I can do anything I put my mind to.
Lisa: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Frank G: Motivational, uplifting , relatable, My music has a drive, A drive that will get you through the day no matter what mood you in or what you’re going through I feel like the world gone feel what I’m saying and relate to it I’m a motivational speaker.
Lisa: What is your creative process like?
Frank G: It starts with the rhythm of the beat and the tempo before I start writing I close my eyes ,clear my mind, and think about everything I went through what I’ve accomplished then I listen to the beat repeatedly. Cause if you listen closely sometimes the beat will give you a catchy hook and you can go from there. Or I’ll write little phrases til it all comes together different beats give me different vibes so it just depends on how I feel.
Lisa: I really loved your song “South”. Can you tell me more about it? What’s it about, and how did you get inspiration to write it?
Frank G: Preciate the love, I wrote south when I was living in Irvington, NJ at the time I like to travel so considering I talk different I have a country accent and the people would call me country that was my Nickname so I got a vibe from that and I took that cause I was born and raised down south. South explains about places that I’ve been to, the moves that I been making to get to where I’m at today so I just want to let people know when I say south I’m not just representing one state cause you got ATL, Arkansas, Memphis, Texas, etc. I’m representing and putting on for the whole south.
Lisa: If you could choose to work with some of today’s established artists or producers, to move your game to the top, with whom would you like to collaborate?
Frank G: I would want to work with Jadakiss as far the producer side I would want to work with drummaboy.
Lisa: What is one message you would give to your fans?

Frank G: Lol driving on suspended license thinking I wasn’t going to get caught cause I was speeding the police pulled me over instead of taking me to jail he gave me a ticket and I had to pay a $500 fine.
Lisa: What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Frank G: Keep God first no matter what you do in life stay true to yourself believe in yourself love your people and enemies but never share too much with people because not everyone wants to see you do good not everyone will understand your vision just believe in yourself and move in silence.
