Mary J. Blige Set For New BET Show “The Wine Down”
Mary J. Blige is on the verge of launching her own shows, including “The Wine Down,” on BET Networks in 2023. The show will include celebrity guests Taraji P. Henson and Yung Miami of the City Girls.
As the “Just Fine” artist ends her “Good Morning Gorgeous” tour, she has a brand new show called The Wine Down in the works and has already started with the production. The show will cover sports, politics, entertainment, and social media.
The upcoming talk show reportedly has guests booked with appearances from actress Taraji P. Hensen, and Yung Miami, who also has her own show Caresha Please.
This announcement comes at a time where the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has added to her legacy this year with a Super Bowl performance alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and surprise guest 50 Cent.
The Grammy Award-winning singer also launched her wine company, Sun Goddess, in 2020 with Marco Fantinel of the Fantinel family, who owns vineyards in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Mary J. Blige recently signed a popular TikTok boy band known as WanMor to her record label. Boy bands were once a national phenomenon but have declined recently. It may be time for the new generation to have a crew.
