Lil Baby stopped by Sway in the Morning to promote his new album and also updated him about Young Thug and Gunna who are both currently incarcerated due to RICO charges.
The “Drip Too Hard” rapper Lil Baby recently stopped by the Sway in the Morning radio show to talk about his new album It’s Only Me.
He also took the time to provide updates on his communication with Young Thug and Gunna during their incarceration on RICO charges. Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, stated:
“For the most part, it’s the same old thing. They just trying to get a bun, but I definitely talk to them. I know how it feels to be in that situation, so I reach out to their parents and make sure they’re good.”
When Sway asked what worked for him in a similar situation, he went on to share:
“A lot of times you’re in a tight situation, your phone might not be as easily accessible. As far as for me, I just know if you got somebody on the outside, that you know you could depend on a little bit, you can kind of sleep better.”
Lil Baby’s It’s Only Me dropped on October 14 and is available for purchase or streaming now.
The District Attorney presiding over Young Thug and Gunna’s case has stated that she intends to continue to cite lyrics in any criminal case. Despite criticism, she still stands by her words.
