During an early morning Q&A with fans on Twitter, Kid Cudi shut down a possible collaboration album with Travis Scott. The idea stemmed from the iconic song the two released in 2020, “The Scotts.”

“The moment has passed,” Cudi told one fan on Twitter.

Cudi, however, didn’t hold back from collaborating with Travis at all. The “Entergalactic” rapper says he plans to make more songs with Scott.

After “The Scotts” was released in 2020, it debuted at the top of the Billboard 100 charts, giving Cudi his first No. 1 hit.

Cudi also recently celebrated another first with his hit song “Pursuit of Happiness” earning RIAA’s certified diamond status after 13 years.

When Cudi got the news, he thanked his fans on Twitter for their support.

“Thank you to everyone who connected with this song and played it over and over all these years,” said Cudi.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA, a song goes diamond after 10-million sales. For every 150 streams on a platform, that’s the equivalent of one single or album sale.

In September, Cudi released his hit single “Willing to Trust,” with Ty Dolla $ign. He also wrapped his “To The Moon” world tour last month.

Kid Cudi has expressed his feelings about his former friend Kanye West, saying it would be a miracle for them to be friends again. Cudi did an interview and spoke on his issues with his former friend and G.O.O.D. Music label boss Kanye West.

Cudi addressed West, bringing him into his beef with Pete Davidson.
