Juelz Santana is back making music. He posted his comeback on Instagram on Christmas. This mixtape will be a Gangsta Grillz production with none other than DJ Drama. The duo plan on dropping the tape soon as the post reads “Top Of The Year”. The project will be called We In Motion. There has been no further news, but this post.
Santana Is Back
The Harlem rapper has always proved himself and delivered when it was time. His run with Dipset in the early 2000s was a historic time for hip-hop. As he gets older, Juelz drops off music from time to time. His last album,#FREESANTANA, came out in 2020 while he was in prison on weapons charges. He plead guilty to an attempt to bring a loaded gun on a flight. The Dipset rapper was on his way to San Francisco from Newark Airport in New Jersey where TSA found the gun while his bag was being scanned. He was in jail for almost two years.
DJ Drama Is Working
DJ Drama is still trying to outwork everyone! He sure had a busy 2022. The Gangsta Grillz head dropped 10 tapes alone this year! He kicked off the year with Jim Jones for Gangsta Grillz: We Set the Trends. Drama followed that up with The World Is Yours: Gangsta Grillz and Misguidedwith OMB Peezy. He collaborated with Symba for Results Take Time and David Sabastian forGod Save the Rave. This year, the Philadelphia born DJ was able to make new music with artists he hasn’t worked with in years!

He patched things up with Jeezy, which led to SNOFALL and he linked back up with Snoop Dogg after eight years for Gangsta Grillz: I Still Got It. Drama is always tapped in to the new and up-and-coming rappers. He made tapes with Icewear Vezzo, Dave East, and NBA Youngboy this year as well. It feels like ever since DJ Khaled says no one can see him in a VERZUZ, Drama has been on one. There’s no sign of him slowing down either.
