New music is officially on the way for Jordan Davis. After having a wildly successful year with his chart-topping hit, “Buy Dirt,” Davis will kick off 2023 with the release of his second full-length album, Bluebird Days, on February 17.

The multi-Platinum MCA Nashville hitmaker exclusively announced the upcoming album cover and title with American Songwriter.

“It’s been an evolution, and not just from a songwriting standpoint,” Davis explained about the process of creating Bluebird Days with Producer Paul DiGiovanni. “Everything matches the song…letting the song be a song and letting the lyrics lead it. Nothing feels forced. To me, it’s an album expressing exactly where I’m at right now.”

Davis also revealed to the outlet that the collection is set to include his multi-week, 2x Platinum No. 1 single, “Buy Dirt,” featuring Luke Bryan, which was co-penned by him Davis and his brother Jacob, along with Matt Jenkins and Josh Jenkins.

Since its release, this heartwarming song has continued to resonate with fans on a global scale, topping the Country radio airplay charts for two weeks and amassing more than 735 Million global streams to date. It also earned NSAI Song of the Year (2022), CMA Song of the Year (2022), and has notched multiple awards nominations including Top Country Song at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Musical Event of the Year at the 55th CMA Awards, and for Music Event, Single, and Song of the Year at the 57th ACM Awards.

“When I think back about this year and all the milestones we’ve had I am just, grateful,” Davis shared honestly. “‘Buy Dirt’ has always had an amazing fan connection-but between winning CMA song of the year last week—which was a dream come true—and my first ever AMA nomination for the same song ….when it’s a fan voted award and at an all genre award show, I just have nothing but tremendous gratitude for everyone who has supported and connected with the song.”

In addition to “Buy Dirt,” Bluebird Days will feature several recently released tracks including fan-favorites, “Next Thing You Know,” “Midnight Crisis” featuring Danielle Bradbery, “Part of It,” and his current hit single, “What My World Spins Around,” which has already amassed more than 145 Million streams to date.

Davis also took to social media to share a teaser of what the new project will entail. The clip showcased a montage of some of his latest music videos layered with a voiceover, which reflects the title that was pulled from a duck hunting term “bluebird day.” This term refers to warm and sunny days when the ducks are found lounging more often than moving around.

Bluebird Day is not a cloud in the sky, sun shining, north wind, hot coffee, ducks are flying, which I kind of rolled into this kind of moment in my life, which feels like that,” he said in the video.

This upcoming project will follow Davis’ 2018 debut, Home State

Beginning today, exclusive Bluebird Days merch bundles are available for Davis’ fan club, The Parish, available HERE. General pre-order opens tomorrow via JordanDavisOfficial.com along with upgrade packages and autographed memorabilia.

Jordan Davis is currently serving as direct support for Luke Combs’ The Middle of Somewhere Tour, through December. He will next join Thomas Rhett for the international leg of his Bring the Bar To You Tour, which kicks off in February. Davis is also scheduled to perform “What My World Spins Around” during Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 24.
