Joanie, a 20 years old Quebecoise Pop Artist is about to release a new single “Impostor” on October 1st. Joanie fell in love with music at a young age. Joanie sings from a young age and started to learn piano and guitar at 16 years old. Music is her biggest passion. It saved her life. “I can’t live without music”, she says. Impostor is a song about fake folks out there. You may not know who you are but we do! It is a song inspired by our own past experiences about toxic relationships and toxic friendships. Flight Lounge sent me the beat he made and asked if I could do something with it. I started to write the lyrics and in a few days I was done and recorded my voice. I sent everything over and he finished all the magic with his amazing skills and genius brain. We are really proud of that one and we hope you all love it as much as we do!
