Today we present to you a musican named Unordenary Aka Uno. This was a very interesting interview with an artist that has lot of fresh music comming up this year, and we strongly advise you to take time to listen.
Lisa: What first got you into music?
Unordenary Aka Uno: Listening to early chris brown in 05 and then my mom putting me on to Michael Jackson. Since then I would just just listen to music and branch out into different genres and time periods and different countries.
Lisa: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
My music has no genre. It honestly just depends on what i hear and feel at the time and then I build on from that. I can make lit music all the way to music you need to listen to while broken-hearted.
Lisa: You have a very unique sound with a very nice flow, what is your creative process like?
Thank you that means a lot. That is my goal everytime i get to cooking. I make music in different ways to be honest. Sometimes I start with making or finding a beat and then figuring out lyrics, or I think of a song and then go from there. I also try not to force things as well I want my music to sound organic, authentic and overall dope.
Lisa: Could you briefly describe the music-making process?
Being a producer and engineer is alot at times. While you are trying to master singing or rapping sometimes it takes a toll on beat making or engineering but I try to balance it all out. Every song I make I want it to be different from the last. I dont want anyone who listens to my music to get bored. I want each song to make people say “thats you?”
Lisa: Who would you most like to collaborate with?
I have 4 artists i have to work with. Those are (in no order) Drake, Travis scott, The Weeknd and Don Toliver. These artists are trailblazers. Whether it’s a collab on the singing and rapping or collabing on a beat I just have to one day.
Lisa: You’ve recently released single called “Haha”, can you tell me more about
it?
My song Haha came out of nowhere. I heard the beat from this producer named 7ink and when i heard it the chorus immediately came out..once that came I got my bro Yvng Millie to hop on the verse and the rest is history. I made this song as way to tell people be who you are, do what you love and just laugh at the haters.
Lisa: What’s the biggest problem you’ve had to overcome so far?
I feel like my biggest problem was taking out the doubts of other people, including myself. There was a period in time when I was making music for other people’s approval and not for myself. It was when I changed that music started to advance.
Lisa: What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
I honestly do not think of that. There is nothing else I would want to put my soul into other than music. Music is my family, my go to, the one thing I feel like if I laid everything out on the table it would accept and appreciate me.
Lisa: How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
I feel like the internet has done a lot for music. I now have the opportunity to connect with people from around the world and share what I love doing. I also believe that since the internet is undefeated it lets you see who is real and who is just putting up a front for music.
Lisa: What is the best advice you’ve been given?
The best advice I was given was from numerous people to not stop. Thats the best advice you can give someone. As soon as someone stops the game is over.
Lisa: What’s next for you?
Im dropping a lot this year. This is the year I wanted to show my versatility by myself as well as with other artists. I have 2 joint projects that will be dropping, one with Vcipz and another with Yvng Millie.. I am also prepping for my next solo project: Uno 2 so this year a lot of heat coming.
