Today we’ve had an opportunity to do an interview with a very talented artis that goes by the name The Hendrixxx.
PRESEASON Ep was about me going in to the next level with my music and I get a opportunity to rap on a beat that one of my favorite producer made “Whezzy” and I got with this other producer named Beatsbymbb and we created PRESEASON Ep which came out very dope and it was fresh vibes.
Lisa: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
The Hendrixxx: The best way I can describe my music is up tempo vibes that people can listen and have fun and get your body moving and to ride out too with your friends but it’s pure and it comes from the heart and my experiences.
Lisa: What non-musical entities and ideas have impacted your music?
The Hendrixxx: Well The Ideas That Impacted my career was Think And Grow Rich when I read this book it open my mind to things I never thought before and gave me the courage too pursue my dream and gave me the idea that I can do anything long as I put my mind too it.
Lisa: What advice or philosophy might you impart to other musicians, be it in forms of creativity, technical stuff, the business side of it, or anything else?
The Hendrixxx: The Best Advice I Can Give Any Artist is to look at yourself as a brand because you might go on different business adventures besides music plus don’t be afraid to try something new and to be outside the box with your music and my and the last thing is to have a insane work ethic with your music to master your craft but for business side you have to do the research to understand the business and the necessary steps to release your music on different platforms and knowing how to get paid for your work.
Lisa: What is the story behind your EP “PRESEASON”? Is there a common theme between the songs, or is it something else?
The Hendrixxx: The Story Behind This Project was about me going to the next level with my music and they was opening back up sports because of the pandemic and I’m big sports fan but this young producer name Beatsbymbb hit me on Instagram and really like my music and he made this beats for me on the spot and sent them to me and I was already sitting on a beat that I had from these producers Deekay x Whezzy and I felt that it would complement the rest of the beats was given to me and we created the PRESEASON ep which came out very dope for the fans.
Lisa: What ideas did inform your single “What’s the play” in particular?
The Hendrixxx: The Idea came from football because I love sports but What the Play is a saying where I’m from we used a lot but it means what we doing today and what’s the Vibes but just everyday saying and I created the song what’s the Play.
Lisa: What types of change do you feel your music can initiate?
The Hendrixxx: Well I feel my music can initiate unity, love and passion and motivation for others who wanna live there dream without others telling you no that’s gonna work do what you feel
Lisa: What has been the biggest surprise so far about making music your career? What has been an unexpected or welcome challenge to it all?
The Hendrixxx: The Biggest Surprise Is the journey and how I’m working with my favorite Platinum hit Producers that made my favorite songs and people Starting recognize my talents and my music and really enjoy the music it make me feel great and make me go harder and but the unexpected things is learning how to balance it all between music and family and embracing who I’m about to become.
Lisa: At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?
The Hendrixxx: To Be honest I hope the people understand that if you have a dream follow it and don’t give up and have fun and live life and be passionate and about whatever you love to do.
Lisa: What do you hope to accomplish this year, and what are your plans for the future?
The Hendrixxx: I hope to accomplish more fans and to more consistent in give out great music and great content for the people and to perform my songs on the big stage and my plans for the future is to release my first album Called ROCKSTAR and travel more to see the world more and to accomplish a Platinum or Gold Album.
