Lisa: Hi Laetita! What first got you into music? What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Laetitia: Music has always been home to me!  I actually always wanted to make music but kind of pushed it down all these years because I didn’t believe that I could make a song that would make sense lol but what’s natural to you will always stand out and that’s why I don’t know what I would be without music!

Lisa: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

LaetitiaSomething you can vibe to ,wake up to drive around the city bumping to it , allow me to say it’s relaxing …and it makes you think in a positive way!

Lisa: What is your creative process like?

Laetitia: Ouh! I listen to music ALL DAY then play about 3 instrumentals whatever I hear on the beat I start writing …when I’m stuck I switch beats to get more inspirations then the song might actually be recorded on the 3rd beat! I make sure I can switch melodies with my rhymes …a weird process!

Lisa: I really loved your song “Crazy Girls”. Can you tell me more about it? What’s it about, and how did you get inspiration to write it?

Laetitia: The noise outside my guy! Lol no but it was one of those nights in quarantine where my process was bothered by my neighbours downstairs making noise so I pictured myself talking to them …that’s why my first phrase is like that! It’s all fun & to be honest the BLM movement also inspired this song!

Lisa: If you could choose to work with some of today’s established artists or producers, to move your game to the top, with whom would you like to collaborate?

Laetitia: Damn girl that’s crazy! It’s too much I don’t wanna disrespect anybody by leaving them out! I would be humbled to work with anyone who wants to work with diivahayze..
