Today we did an interviw with our Cyzle. She’s bringing it, so prepare to receive it. “This is for the Ladies” strikes hard. What’s great about “Glad He Did” is that it’s not a song about a girl sitting around sad about a breakup, but an empowering song after a split. It’s different from the crowd and it screams “girl power.” As we go from a feminist anthem we head into “Taste! Proceed with Caution” and this one has an overall naughty, but nice feel to it. The sensuality cleans up with “Bye Bye Baby.” The beat has that R&B vibe, but it’s not a sexy song, but rather a heartfelt ditty. We have to wind down with “Victorious.” It’s not an ode to the Nickelodeon show, but it’s definitely a show stopper. Like with “This is for the Ladies,” this one is on the attack. Lisa: Hello Cyzle! Thanks for doing this interview! If someone asked you to
describe your music, besides genres, what would you say?
Cyzle: Cyzle Blessed music is cutting edge– fast and fierce– high in energy her sound is an attention grabber.
Lisa:What types of change do you feel your music can initiate?
Cyzle: Music is therapeutic. It can bring healing, motivation, and encouragement this is what Ms. Blessed brings to the world her ability to connect to her fans while lifting their hearts through her fast paced rhythm and sound.
Lisa:I loved your upcoming single “SHAYKE IT LOU’S”. What inspired you to write it?
Cyzle: “ SHAYKE IT LOU’S” is the newest single release from the talented Cyzle Blessed. The inspiration behind this track was to give her fans a different sound and to show more creativity and growth is her musical journey.
Lisa:If you weren’t a musician today, what else could you see yourself doing? Would you be as fulfilled in life?
Cyzle: Ms. Blessed does have another passion other than music; she’s a radio host in Houston Texas, with Street100theheat and Critical show. She is a voice of hope in her community and around the world. People of all ages gravity to her words of encouragement. She empowers those around her using her platform to help bring change.
Lisa:If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?
Cyzle: Failure isn’t an option! Never give up!
Lisa: How do you nourish your creative side when you’re not working? And how do you avoid burnout?
Cyzle: Staying motivated! Creativity is all arounds us. Cyzle use it to catapult herself to be the best she can be. Anyone can get burnt out of something when this happens, take a break from it and do something a little more entertaining and then return to your recent project. Always give yourself time to regroup. It’s very important for growth and planning.

Lisa:How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it?
Cyzle: Cyzle Blessed, is an artist that is often inspired by sound when she hears that right melody the music speaks to her and the creative juice begins to flow.
Lisa: When you create songs, what is your personal purpose or goal?
Cyzle: Music should be enjoyed, the purpose of doing music is to be honest and transparent for those coming up behind you will have the strength and the drive to push forward.
Lisa: What has been most challenging aspect of your current releases?
Cyzle: Surrounding this release was a lot of challenges due to Cov-19 losing loved ones, her daughter was assaulted, she lost her mind at one point and almost gave up on life. So pushing past the doubt, pain, and rejection is vital. So now I celebrate by saying “I never gave up” on myself now I can reap the benefit of my success.
Lisa: What’s next for you?
Cyzle: The next dimension for Cyzle Blessed, is to grow and shine like the star she was born to be.
Lisa: At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?
Cyzle: Strength, hope and love…..
