ICYMI: FMHipHop New Music Roundup

It’s Monday and I hope you caught up on the new music that dropped over the weekend.  If you haven’t, don’t worry, FMHipHop has you covered!

Tee Grizzley-Chapters of the Trenches

Chapters of the Trenches is the second project of 2022 for the Detroit rapper.  The best thing about this new tape is that it is actually a visual album as well.  The reason for Tee Grizzley to take this new approach when dropping a project is because of the fans.  After dropping his song “Robbery”, the fans wanted more and now he is all the way up to part 5.  The song is inspired by true events.  Grizzley feels the art of storytelling in a song gives the listeners a better experience, something they can hold on to.

Mavi-Laughing So Hard It Hurts

Mavi is back after two years with Laughing So Hard It Hurts.  He has been busy in the meantime.  He was featured on songs with the likes of Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist.  And he also spent time opening for BabyFace Ray and Jack Harlow on Jack Harlow’s Crème De La Crème Tour.  Mavi describes this project as a gentle album.  He applauds himself on being vulnerable on the 16-track album and his fans will get the real him.

Central Cee-No More Leak

UK rapper Central Cee has dropped a new EP.  No More Leaks has four songs on it as this project comes as a surprise for fans.  He has already released a video for the single, “One Up”.  This year has been a whirlwind for the UK rapper.  He released his mixtape, 23, which instantly became number one.  After that, Central Cee went to the infamous L.A. Leakers platform where his freestyle went viral.  To top it off, he dropped his biggest hit of his career so far with “Doja”.  It’s safe to say he know what his fans want.  According to Central Cee, this new EP is called No More Leaks because the songs were actually leaked and promises his fans this won’t happen again.

All projects are on streaming platforms now!
