GloRilla was amazed to find out foxes are real after having a conversation this week. During a trip to the UK, the Memphis rapper appeared for an interview with Kiss FM where the subject of foxes came up.

The presenter, Henrie Kwashue, explained that the city of London has a fox problem. At night, the growing fox population roams the streets and causes all sorts of trouble and mischief. But GloRilla was shocked to find out that foxes are indeed real.

“Foxes? What’s that?”, the “F.N.F” artist said. “The animal, fox? Y’all got that out here? That’s normal? So they like dogs? So y’all not scared of them? I can’t believe it. I never even knew foxes was real.

GloRilla later shared the clip on her Instagram story with laughing emojis.

The rise of GloRilla

The 23-year-old erupted onto the scene with her breakout hit “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” in April, going viral on TikTok and eventually reaching No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her quick success led to her signing a record deal with Yo Gotti’s label CMG through Interscope Records.

“I’ve put in years of hard work to get to this point and I’m blessed to sign with the hottest label in music with CMG,” Glo told Billboard after signing the deal. “I manifested this moment and trusted my talent even when others didn’t. I’m grateful for Gotti in believing in me and I’m not gonna let up. Trust that I have more new heat on the way.”

Yo Gotti shared his own thoughts on the signing, saying that GloRilla “is a natural born star” with “a different sound and approach that’s needed in Hip-Hop right now. He also commented on her meteoric rise, calling it one of the quickest he’s seen in his career.

GloRilla went on to collab with Cardi B on “Tomorrow 2” in September, with the remix peaking at No. 9 on the Hot 100 chart. The song is also set to feature on her upcoming EP, Anyways, Life’s Great…, which is slated for release on November 11.
