Foo Fighters Drop New Song Featuring Dave Grohl's Daughter, Violet

After announcing drummer Josh Freese as the newest member of the Foo Fighters lineup, the band have dropped another new song. Titled “Show Me How,” Dave Grohl‘s daughter Violet Grohl contributes vocals to the song. It’s a lot moodier and quite a bit darker than we’ve come to expect from the Foo Fighters over the years, but given the recent loss of Taylor Hawkins, it’s a logical direction.

Foo Fighters’ new album—their first without Hawkins and with Grohl behind the kit since Hawkins joined the band—is called But Here We Are and will be out on June 2.

Listen to the new song below. Foo Fighters are spending quite a bit of time on the road this year, so plenty of options to see them.
