Many fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment and frustration with GloRilla’s decision to continue promoting the concert. Several commenters have called the move “insensitive” and “disrespectful” to the victims and their families, and have vowed not to attend the event in protest.

Despite the backlash, the CMG artist has remained firm in her decision to go ahead with the concert, stating that she is committed to providing her fans with an unforgettable experience.

However, the controversy surrounding the event has again highlighted the need for better safety regulations and procedures at concerts and events. With tragedies like this becoming all too common in the music industry, event organizers must take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of their attendees.

As fans continue to voice their concerns and demand change, it remains to be seen whether GloRilla and other performers will heed their calls and take action to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

A stampede broke out at Memphis rapper GloRilla’s concert in New York. According to reports, a young woman passed away, and at least eight others were hospitalized.

According to NBC News, one person has died and at least eight others were injured after a stampede broke out at CMG signee GloRilla’s concert in Rochester, New York, on March 5th.

Police have stated that fans leaving the show thought they heard gunfire inside the venue, causing a rush towards the exit.

Officials have also added that they do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or anyone being shot or stabbed. Officers found three women inside the venue with significant injuries—one of them, a 33-year-old woman, did not survive her injuries.

The two others remain in critical condition. Seven additional people arrived at local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries from being trampled.

GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, performed at the Main Street Armory when the incident occurred. On Monday, Mar. 6, just before 12:15 a.m., the rapper tweeted that she was “just now hearing about what happened” and praying that everybody was okay.

This marks the latest incident in a series of fatal crowd surges that have occurred at concerts in the U.S. Police are continuing to investigate the incident and determine what caused it, as well as who may have been responsible.

Recently, GloRilla was nominated for a Grammy and was among a number of artists to perform for Hip-Hop 50th Anniversary tribute.

Safety is becoming a major issue at concert festivals, not only for the audience but for the artist as well. Rap newcomer Ice Spice was recently swarmed by fans, forcing her to be rushed out during her performance at a NYFW party, which led to chaos.
