On Friday (June 16), the country superstar and the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City took to social media to reveal the unfortunate news with fans.

The National Weather Service reported that the severe thunderstorms began in the Shreveport-Bossier area around 1:30 a.m. Friday, June 16 and ended shortly after 2 a.m. The storm brought strong winds that measured up to 80 miles per hour and caused damage to the surrounding area.

“Bossier Parish experienced severe weather during the night with heavy rain and strong winds. The severe weather knocked out power to the majority of the parish. This is due mainly to trees falling on power lines. At this point, there is no timeline as to when power will be restored,” the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s shared in a statement.
