BREAKING: Shania Twain To Release New Album, Embark On 49-City World Tour In 2023

Shania Twain just announced her sixth studio album and a massive world tour.

After much anticipation, the five-time GRAMMY award winner shared the exciting news with fans on Friday (Oct. 28).

“I am unbelievably excited to announce ‘Queen Of Me’ – the new album and tour,” Twain wrote.

Twain’s album, Queen Of Me, will arrive on February 3, 2023, and features previously released tunes “Waking Up Dreaming,” “Not Just A Girl” and the just released tune, “Last Day Of Summer.” The project marks Twain’s first full-length offering and record since 2017, and her official debut for her new label partner Republic Nashville, a division of Republic Records.

“Right now, I’m feeling very comfortable in my own skin – and this album reflects that musically. Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered,” Twain explained of the project on Twitter. ”I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!”

In addition to announcing the album, Twain shared another new song from the project titled “Last Day Of Summer.”

The track unfolds as a nostalgic and cinematic anthem set in the final moments of everyone’s favorite season. Delicate guitar melts into a steady beat and big screen-worthy strings as she nostalgically recalls, “The last time we were together the first thing I remember every time September comes.”

Twain, who is the best-selling female artist in country music history, will embark on a 49-date Queen Of Me Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the trek will kick off on Friday, April 28 at Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. The tour will make stops across North America and Europe through September 26.

“I want to celebrate this new chapter with you all on my tour! Vegas has been a dream, but I’m ready to be on the road again… This one’s gonna be a big party – no inhibitions, no conditions, let’s get a little out of line!!”
