Blueface was sent to perform at this year’s Rolling Loud Festival over the weekend, but that certainly didn’t pan out.
No Call, No Show
According to the “Thotiana” rapper, he could not attend his Culture Kings Stage set this past Saturday due to police intervention. The Mar 4 performance was canceled by event runners after a confusing no-show.
Blueface typed an explanation to his fans on Twitter that same night. He claims Los Angeles police wouldn’t allow him and his team to enter the festival.
Strangely, Blueface doesn’t provide any additional details as to why exactly authorities didn’t want him inside Rolling Loud. “Sorry rolling loud they hit my bus police ain’t let us in,” the artist typed along with a gun and police emoji.

Sadly, fans excited to see the Cali rapper got no word of the cancellation in advance. Many Rolling Loud attendees were left standing confused around an empty stage.
Several fans responding to Blue’s Twitter claim gossiped that a fight with Chrisean Rock was the real reason Blueface didn’t make it onstage. In addition to this, others alleged the real reason the artist avoided the festival was because of the ongoing feud with fellow performer Lil Baby. However, other fans quickly shot both theories down. Of course, you can never know for sure with this chaotic couple.
Nah I think you and Chris got into it 🤣🤣. Bc Chris thought she was coming out with you and that wasn’t going to happen 💯

Y’all make everything about Chrisean. Someone was streaming live from the stage he was supposed to perform on and showed that there was an incident in the area that caused them to cancel his set. Y’all need a scapegoat SO BAD. 🙄

Keeping Control During Rolling Loud
The Rolling Loud weekend was full of mishaps for performers. Headliner Playboi Carti had his set shortened after fans began hopping over the barricade and crashing into each other. The fray resulted in one fan getting injured and Carti leaving the stage for a half hour. Travis Scott, another rapper known for particularly rowdy fans, also had his Saturday set cut.
Just as “Sicko Mode” began playing over the speakers, Travis was forced to leave the stage to keep in line with the venue’s 11pk curfew. This year’s Rolling Loud crew may have moved a tad stricter with safety precautions following the deadly Astroworld disaster of 2021. Take a look at both scenes from the festival below.
