Bad Bunny Coachella Historic Set

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny is the first Latino artist to headline Coachella. It was a nearly two-hour performance also filled with special guests and an on-stage jet ski.

Bad Bunny took the stage at 11:35 p.m., and the roars engulfed the audience. The artist then opened up by giving Coachella a history of his Latin roots.

Message To Critics & Fans

Bad Bunny addressed many of his critics and gave a heartfelt message to his fans during his set.

“Don’t believe everything you hear. You won’t get to know the real me through a video on Instagram, an interview, or a TikTok. If you really want to get to know me, I invite you to my home,” Bad Bunny proclaimed from the stage. “My name is Benito Martinez Ocasio… I know who I am, what my purpose is, and I promise you — I will see it through.”

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio probably made Latinos proud everywhere because Coachella is one of the biggest festivals in the world. Twitter also went crazy supporting hilarious and emotional tweets about Bad Bunny’s moving performance.

Who Did Bad Bunny Bring On-Stage?

The Puerto Rican hitmaker brought out Reggaeton veterans Jowell & Randy and Ñengo Flow.

However, a pleasant surprise that many most likely didn’t expect was Post Malone joining Bunny on stage. Bunny brought out Post Malone for an amazing acoustic performance of “La Cancion” and “Yonaguni,” which was sadly hindered by technical issues.

Post Malone’s, born Austin Richard Post’s, mic went dead. The artist’s microphone couldn’t work again, so he had to leave the stage and leave Ocasio to finish off his historical set.

Bad Bunny Is Putting Latin Trap On The Map

Bad Bunny first performed at Coachella a few years ago. At the time, the artist was also up and coming in reggaeton and Latin trap music. He has put the Latin trap on the map.

Bad Bunny is making history not only at Coachella but also with his latest album, “Un Verano Sin Ti,” being the first entirely Spanish-language work to earn a Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year
