Rapper 50 Cent recently announced that he will be collaborating with Starz to develop British Drama series, Fightland. The scripted project will tell a story about the dangerous world of British boxing.

Rapper-turned-TV mogul 50 Cent recently took to his Instagram account and proudly announced that he is working on a new British Drama series called Fightland. The upcoming scripted project will be aired on Starz and is currently under development.

The Power Universe executive producer also commented under his announcement post. He said, “This was the last show i had to pitch to STARZ first before my deal ended. FIGHT LAND!”

According to Deadline, the highly anticipated drama series will be set “within the high stakes, cash-rich, dangerous British world of boxing.” In addition, the storyline will follow a retired world champion fighter who gets back in the ring to save his childhood best friend.

Since the announcement, some fans have flooded his comments with excitement. However, others hounded him for the new Power: Book II season. 

One fan commented, “50 got me canceling and renewing STARZ every month.” Another Instagram user said, “Congratulations but ,Smh where is Power at man? We don’t care about this right now. You and Starz are playing games.”

In other recent news, 50 Cent paid an onstage tribute to late Migos rapper Takeoff after the Power boss’ Hip-Hop Homicides controversy.

It’s clear 50 Cent is taking over TV screens, one show at a time. After the success of one of his hit TV series Black Mafia Family (BMF), the TV mogul took it up a notch with a matching documentary.
